AIST exam for FDDI



Footwear design and development institute will be holding a joint entrance exam AIST  on 7th June-9th June 2017.The exam will be held for various undergraduate courses as well as post graduate courses. Students who are interested in pursuing any of these courses will have to sit for the entrance exam which is a multiple type questions and will be done on the computer. Candidates can either take the test in Hindi or English. The exam is also open for foreign nationals .Since the exam is very popular among students therefore there is a very hard competition which exists.

It is wise to prepare for the exam well in advance. There are several coaching institutes which offer coaching in order to help pass the exam. The undergraduate courses at FDDI is of 3 year duration and the basic eligibility for passing the exam is that the candidate needs to be 10+2 or equivalent .The post graduate course offered by FDDI is of 2 year duration and the basic eligibility to sit for the entrance exam which is conducted for post graduate courses is a bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised institute. There is no maximum age limit to sit for this test however in case of the undergraduate courses the candidate cannot be more than 25 years.

There is also an integrated 5 year course which combines both the undergraduate course as well as the post graduate course that makes it a total of 5 years. The integrated course is very popular among the youngsters and is currently only being offered in 2 institutes namely Noida and Rohtak.


The application can be downloaded from the website and the fees can also be paid online. If you wish to apply for more than 1 course in the same category then there is no need to pay the fees twice however of a candidate needs to fill two different courses one from the undergraduate category and another from the post graduate category then they will have to pay separate fees.
