Applicants all across India gearing to sit for the AIST exam to be held in June

The footwear design and development institute joint entrance exam which is the AIST is just round the corner. Applicant in large number have applied for the AIST exam which provides admission to undergraduate courses and post graduate courses. The Footwear design and development institute offers a variety of undergraduate courses which are of 3 year duration and a variety of post graduate courses which are of 2 year duration. A candidate who has passed the 10+2 exam and is below the age of 25 years can apply to sit for the AIST exam in order to seek admission in any undergraduate course. Each application cost 500 Rs however if the applicant wants to opt for more than 1 course in the same category them the fees just needs to be paid one.

As regards post graduate courses offered by FDDI is concerned, that is also done through AIST which is an objective type exam which is taken on the computer. For every correct answer the candidate get 1 mark and the best part about the AIST exam is unlike other exam where in there is negative marking for every wrong answer the AIST exam does not deduct any mark for incorrect answer. The candidate has to be a graduate in order to sit for the AIST exam and there is no upper age limit to sit for the exam unlike the undergraduate exam. Just like the undergraduate courses the student can opt for more than 1 course in the same category without having to pay the fees which is 500 RS multiple number of times. However if the candidate opts for different courses in both undergraduate category and post graduate category, will have to pay the fees separately.
