Youngsters are getting more and more creative and are willing to test and try new fields. Fashion is now become a growing industry and is also a mainstream for many entrepreneur. Fashion is now not only pertained to clothes and accessories but also footwear. People now team footwear to accentuate their style. Gone are those days when people would wear the same shoe with all kind of attire.

With the growing demand for footwear it has become important to have ample resources which consist of leather and skilled labour. India has never been short of skills, but the skills now need to be modernise. Many people still in unorganised sector are using very basic tools to manufacture a shoe, this results in a lot of time and outgo of money.

In order to clear the exam it is advisable to start preparing well in advance, though the level is not very difficult bit the competition is cut throat. Only the ones who perform well in the entrance exam are called for counselling and then they can choose the campus and the course they desire to study.

AIST exam for FDDI

Footwear design and development institute will be holding a joint entrance exam AIST  on 7 th June-9 th June 2017.The exam will be held for various undergraduate courses as well as post graduate courses. Students who are interested in pursuing any of these courses will have to sit for the entrance exam which is a multiple type questions and will be done on the computer. Candidates can either take the test in Hindi or English. The exam is also open for foreign nationals .Since the exam is very popular among students therefore there is a very hard competition which exists. It is wise to prepare for the exam well in advance.
