More and more applicants gearing for the forthcoming entrance exam AIST conducted by Footwear design and development institute for admission to various undergraduate and post graduate courses



Footwear design and development institute of India is one of the most reputable institutes which offer various courses in the field of manufacturing of leather goods and footwear. The institute is holding a joint entrance exam known as the AIST in order to provide admission to candidates in various under graduate as well as post graduate courses for the academic year 2017.

The demand for these courses is ample therefore other than the already present campuses in India namely Fursatganj (Near Lucknow), Chennai, Kolkata, Chhindwara, Rohtak, Jodhpur, Guna, Ankleshwar (Gujarat), Chandigarh, Hyderabad & Patna and Noida.the FDDI is planning to open yet another 5 institutes by the end of 2017.
The entrance exam which will be taking place on 9th June 2017-11th June 2017 will provide admission to candidates for the below courses

MSc. (Footwear Design & Production) with a total intake of 270 students
MSc. (Retail & Fashion Merchandise) with a total intake of 270 students
MSc. (Creative Design & CAD/CAM) with a total intake of30 students

Under graduate courses 2017-2020

BSCFWP BSc. (Footwear Design & Production) with a total intake of 630 students
BSCRFM BSc. (Retail & Fashion Merchandise) with a total intake of 540
BSCFLAD BSc. (Fashion Leather Accessory Design) with a total intake of 120

Once the students who clear the entrance exams will be invited for counselling, when they can decide on the course they want to select along with the choice of campus.
